Will I get my vocal range back after Vocal nodules surgery?

I'm a 23 year old male Tenor singer and I have just found out that I have vocal cord nodules and I'm going to have to have surgery to remove them.I'm scared to death but my surgeon has said that every thing will be ok and that I want loose my range if I rest my Voice for 6 weeks.Here is my vocal range 3 Octaves 1 Note.Will I loose that range?
