Do you think buying the new Tickle Me Elmo will be a great investment as a collector's item?

This toy is a huge deal right now and I wanted to know what you all think about purchasing one and keeping it as a collectors item to sell in the next 20-40 years from now. Would it be a great collector's item like Barbie or comics?
