Shall i just accept its finished and pack his things?

Me and my boyfriend have been together over a year and during the week everything is fine between us but by the weekend he goes within himself and ends up walking out for no reason. this time he has been gone for 3 days and i havent contacted him once as i have had enough of feeling he wants to be single at the weekend. he does this quite a lot but always ends up getting one of his friends to collect his things and after a week wants to talk and get back together. i have packed his stuff but feel like im being left in limbo?? what should i do???
