WHy can I NOT access my Message Archives for a mobile phone friends #. I'm getting a "library runtime" issue.?

I have had my computer cleaned and a new hard drive but the runtime problem still exists BUT only on the phone messaging archives. It is important that I have access to these records, please help. Thank -you!
