Dental isting pay rate?

If this is your first Dental isting job then I would say that you are making ok money. I have been a dental istant for 3 years and am only making 10.75 where I work, Which I am currently looking for a new job. If you are not already certified I would do that and get your Xray license, And eventually go back to school for EFDA, Which is where the good money is, There is definatley money to be made in the dental field but you have to work your way up. When it comes time for your 1 year anniversary there I would sit down and talk with the office manager about how you feel and see what she says about giving you a raise. Employers need to show there employess that they appriciate them and let them know they are doing a good job, Which my employer does not. If your office manager really believes you are a good istant they wont want to lose you. Good luck:)
