Could I date her?

Well yesterday I was at the shopping center and I was talking to and old girl's mother that I use to like way back in high school.(I liked her daughter)her mother works at this shopping center so i was talking to her and I asked if she was still dating this one guy i knew she was datin in high school.and she said no she dumped him.then i said to the mother maybe she should hook us up since i like to go bowling and watch movies unlike her old boyfriend.I told her mom that I would do that stuff and I said that she would like me more and then the mom said I should go visit her daughter at her work and the mother said that she likes me already since I told her I use to like her daughter back in high school. so what should i do? I like her again ever since I had the talk with the mother about her daughter I have been thinking about her ever since.
