Any advise for the socially awkward?

Hello Coeus, i can understand your position. Lets say im also in my teens and im also socially awkward but for different reasons XD anyways i realize possibly finding friends is possibly teh most important thing to do in one's life, and therefore its one of the hardest. i moved schools in my middle school and for one year i didnt have many friends. I guess my advice would be to hang out with 'not-so-popular' kids at your school, or kids in a similar position, so that you guys can understand each other if ur in the same position. Like one of the answers said, possibly u (just like me) are lacking confidence in urself. I guess thats not an easy thing to fix (i still havent solved it) but i guess it starts arriving if u start not giving so much about what others think and say (i noe its hard to do, trust me!). But yeah, dont except a total reversal of your character but just try to be urself, a but more confident, and ull get somewhere :D I hope that was helpful and made u feel a bit better to noe other ppl are in the same position.
